VISITORS

Visiting Bands

Visiting bands are welcome at All Saints

We are always happy to welcome visiting bands to ring at Swanton Morley.

With its easy to ring bells and being situated in the heart of Norfolk close to the A47 and A1067, Swanton Morley is a popular destination for visiting ringers.  Whether it is part of an tower or society's outings or quarter peals and peal attempts as well as for towers to hold their practice somewhere different.

This page contains everything you need to know about arranging a visit to Swanton Morley.

We do ask that you read through the information and guidance on the Visitors Information page prior to making contact to arrange your visit.

Wherever possible we do like at least a month's notice of any intended visit. This is to give us time to liaise with the church to ensure that the tower is available as well as to give notice on our website.

If you are an individual wishing to ring at Swanton Morley for a service or attend our weekly practice please check out our Visiting Ringers page.

Statement on Safeguarding

The Swanton Morley Bell Ringers and All Saints' PCC believe it is everyone's responsibility to take safeguarding seriously to ensure the safety, welfare and well-being of children, young people and adults.

It is the responsibility of the Visit Lead to make sure that the relevant safeguarding measures and checks are in place including there are ringers who have completed a DBS check and obtained parental permission for any under 18s in attendance.

Whilst it is not the responsibility of the Swanton Morley Ringers or All Saints' PCC, we do ask all  Visit Leads to complete a Safeguarding Declaration on behalf of the group to confirm that safeguarding measures are in place. The Ringers and PCC reserve the right to refuse any groups permission to ring at the Tower if they fail to complete the form or have the relevant measures in place.

Arrange a visit
