We hope that you enjoy exploring the site and discovering about both the ringers and the tower we call home.

As well as finding out all about the band, you can find out why the bells are rung as well as take a look at the calendar to find out about any ringing taking place at the tower.

Hopefully after finding out all about ringing you'll want to have a go yourself!

Why are bells rung?


Teaching, Commemorating or Celebrating.

Ever suddenly become aware that the bells are ringing and wondered why?

Well, from weekly pracitces to welcoming people to the church and taking part in ringing traditions there is a whole host of reasons why the bells could be ringing.

Discover the many reasons the bells might be pealing out over the village.

On its raised position at the northern edge of the Swanton Morley, the 98ft bell tower of All Saints Church is an impressive sight.
Behind the huge belfry windows hang a ring of 6 bells, with the three oldest having been cast during the reign of James I back in 1623.

Of course bells are no good without bell ringers to ring them.
