All Saints' Swanton Morley Bell Ringers'
Centenary Memorial Bell Appeal
Commemorating the past and securing the future
Centenary Memorial
Bell Appeal
Commemorating the past and securing the future

The Centenary Memorial Bell Appeal will see two new lighter treble bells added to the current ring of six, therefore creating a ring of eight.

One of these new bells will be the Centenary Memorial Bell which will be cast to commemorate 100 years since the end of the First World War as well as 100 years since the formation of the Royal Air Force.

In addition to this, a range of learning and teaching resources will be added to All Saints to support the teaching of ringing which already goes on in the tower, further cementing Swanton Morley's reputation as a teaching tower.

The
Centenary Memorial Bell
Commemorating the past - A Village's Tribute

Central to the Centenary Memorial Bell Appeal is the "Centenary Memorial Bell" itself.

One half of the bell will bear inscriptions to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War, whilst the other half will bear inscriptions to commemorate the centenary of the formation of the RAF.

This bell, along with a new treble, will be installed alongside the current ring of six creating an 8cwt 8 in central Norfolk.
